Daregal Gourmet’s gift to the Cancer foundation: Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

Daregal came to know about the foundation thanks to Shankari who won the last Daregal recipe Contest.

Shankari announced she was going to donate her entire proceed to the foundation in honor of her friend Tina.
The Daregal team was moved by such generosity, and decided to contribute an additional  $500 to Shankari’s gift.

Daregal would like to thank Shankari again for her kindness.
Here is what Shankari had to say about Tina who has been sick with breast cancer.

“In my own words, Tina is a fun person to be around. She is the TV anchor I work with when I do my live TV segments. Tina always make people comfortable when on TV and she has a generous heart. Around the same time last year, I asked her if she can help us food bloggers promote a virtual fundraiser for a another blogger friend who was diagnosed with cancer and she readily agreed.  We miss Tina and can’t wait for her to be back…”
